Rubber Xiom Vega Tour
VEGA TOUR is the only tire in the VEGA series that uses the Elasto Futura and Cycloid technologies, which are well known from the popular OMEGA VII tire series.
XIOM Vega Tour COVER
has a generally softer feel due to a medium-hard sponge at 45° and thinner top layers, which provides a softer feel upon contact with the ball. Because the ball sits on the rubber for a bit longer, players receive excellent feedback and a better sense for play.
The ball speed is somewhat lower, so the rubber is excellent for more aggressive players who like to apply pressure to their opponent. At the same time, the rubber is not very sensitive to incoming rotation, which allows for some forgiveness on defense.
Uses Elasto Futura technology for attacking play with high spin, Cycloid technology for extraordinary accuracy and power.
CARBO SPONGE sponge transfers more energy to the impact on the ball. The result is greater ball speed.

Elasto Futura
Generation ELASTO FUTURA cover with CYCLOID technology has made remarkable progress in the technical field.
DYNAMIC FRICTION was developed is such a way that it connected better with CARBO SPONGE system and gives incredible power for an offensive game. Completely new ratio between rotation and distance, achieved completely new balance between speed and control.
Carbo sponge tensorized
This is a revolution! Color CARBO SPONGE is an exciting black color, which isn’t just a color but also a symbol of advanced technology.
CARBO SPONGE shows incomparable energy efficiency because of the insertion of carbon composites into the new structure of the rubber sponge. Energy loss during the deformation process and consequently foam restoration, is lower than with any other sponge. That means, that during impact more power transfers to the ball. Resulting in more ball power.
Slight weight reduction is another advantage of the use of the new material. There are two versions of CARBO SPONGE. Semi-solid version for VEGA PRO and VEGA ASIA. And semi-soft version for VEGA EUROPE.
Cycloid
Is an innovative methodology that develops rubber for specific performances. OMEGA VII increased the reliability of winning with a new methodology.
The arch of the balls path is critically bigger. Not only did the block at the net decrease, but so did the balls that land deeper toward the edge of the table, without going off.
The speed increases with the newly calculated ratio between rotation and distance and gives strong advantages to speed. New dynamic energy enables the balls at topspin to achieve more power and create new opportunities for winning.
Dynamic Friction
Is a new technology that enables better grip of plastic balls. Because the new balls have great rebound, but a much more slippery surface, making them decently harder to control.
That is why they developed Dynamic Friction technology, used for winter tires that allows for an optimal grip.
